Well, this is the first post of the new year, and i realize how better off i am with leaving old friends behind and leaving the new friends. This wonderful epiphany was brought on by one friend calling me up on new years eve, complaining i was acting like a bitch by hanging out with Midnight Omni, and should have gone to a party at someones house who i couldn't stand. When i said i was busy hanging with other friends, he accused me of not getting laid enough to which i replied "I'm more concerned about keeping my job to fucking a random drunk". He didn't like that, and hung up. But last night wasn't a total waste, as i did get a chance to make more friends. Omni's workmates held a party, and i attended. I made favor with them as i was the only sober at the party and offered to get fast food for everyone.
At roughly midnight, we journeyed to a local park to enjoy fireworks, and started playing on the equipment there. I don't remember a lot of that part, except falling off a flying fox zip-line, and waking up on the side of the road in my car with Alice sitting next to me. Somehow, she had taken over my conscious mind and had enjoyed the night for me. I felt worried, but she assured me she acted like i did the whole night and was told by others they would like to hang out again.
All in all the night was good to me. No cops harassing me, no drunken brawls and slept to about noon, enjoying a lucid dream as i slept. I was quite shocked as I have not had a proper sleep in well over 6 months. I thinks life is finally getting better, but i don't want to jinx it. It might just be the large amount of alcohol i consumed when I got home. I wish you a happy new year, and as always, I have been your Angel for this evening.
